If you have been following the Bundy ranch standoff, you that Michele Fiore is the most visible elected official on the Pro-Bundy side. This is a good video of her on the Chris Hayes show the other day talking about it.

Fiore focuses on the excessive amount of force that was employed by the BLM, but it misses the bigger issue….why should the Feds be involved at all in some field in Nevada? As we all agree, the Bundys are in technical violation of the law, but no-one is asking why we have that law? While Chris Hayes may believe that the Feds should be involved in every aspect of our lives, I do not. That is not the country our founders created or ever envisioned.

The real debate needs to be about why the Federal Government is so expansive and what can be done about it.
